Say goodbye to February

Say goodbye to February its endless cold grey skies and its rarely tantalising blue.
To reminders of times that I cannot reconcile that nag like the cold east wind.
Goodbye to dry brittle dead land and say hello to optimistic life pursuing shoots.
To fond memories of quiet far off familiar places, and romantic strolls, no I will not say goodbye to that.
To that quandary of monthly day calculation, is it 28 or 29, and its nudging confusing replication into scheduling March.
Goodbye to the people we miss, we miss you, not only annually, not just for February but relentlessly.
Goodbye to dark nights that February lifts heartily, lengthening the light on and on, and lifting us.
Say goodbye to saying goodbye to February, celebrate Aquarius and Pisces and welcome the seasonal push.
