Washing

Procrastination is an integral part of my life, and I use two things to make me feel like I have done something but also assist in this procrastination, washing and ironing. The first one is important in daily life, the second one less so, especially if you have some kind of drier which we have. Rationally in my head, it also means that I only have a small amount of washing hanging about waiting to be washed. However, I do have washing hanging about to be dried. Having washing hanging about in our rear downstairs room drives my husband up the wall, as he feels it's taking the warmth away and adding to the dampness, for which he is both right, he also thinks that I wash too much, the jury is out on that one. Still, for me, having the washing about drying before I succumb to the inevitability of the drier I justify to myself has some ecological value. Once the washing is dried this is then followed by me procrastinating putting the items away, but away they do go.
